Safety brakes for automatic doors
Safety brakes are used on industrial doors to safely stop and hold the door in place in the event of mechanical failure, such as broken chains on chain transmissions or a broken gearbox. Safety brakes therefore intervene to prevent the door from falling in an uncontrolled manner, which can result in serious accidents and damage to property.

Safety brakes for rolling door drives
Rolling doors that are operated with a Chain drive must be fitted with an external safety brakes to prevent the door from falling. If a rolling door is operated using a direct mount drive, it must be equipped with an integrated safety brakes. If this is not the case, for example with older systems, an external safety brakes must be retrofitted to such rolling doors.
