Light Curtains
Light curtains are innovative safety components for the contactless protection of doors. A Light curtain consists of a series of light beams that cover and monitor the door opening. If these light beams are interrupted, for example by a person or an obstacle, the door movement is stopped immediately. Depending on the product, Light curtains can be a fully-fledged replacement for safety edges or photo eyes on doors and are suitable both for new installations and for retrofitting to existing door systems.
