Explanation:

• Output shaft: The output shaft can be mounted on the left or right. The correct side is determined by looking at the top of the drive from the motor in the direction of the gearbox. Subsequent changes to the output shaft are not possible.
• Installation position: The drive is mounted either horizontally or vertically on a foot bracket. Please also refer to the technical drawing above.
• Magnetic brake: We recommend operating the drive with a magnetic brake, otherwise the gearbox will be heavily loaded.
• Limit switch: The operator can be ordered without limit switch, with integrated digital limit switch DES or with integrated mechanical limit switch NES. An external limit switch is available as an accessory. With an integrated limit switch, the limit switch range (E=20, E=40 or E=60 revolutions, depending on the drive variant) can be selected. These values refer to the maximum possible revolutions of the output shaft.
• Control unit: You can order the drive without a control unit or optionally with an integrated WS 905 control unit. The operator can also be operated with an external control unit, e.g. the GfA Elektromaten TS 400. This is available as an accessory.

Description:

The GfA Elektromaten ST 60.24 sliding gate operator , with a drive torque of 600Nm and an output speed of 24 rpm is an operator for industrial sliding gates. The sliding gate operator consists of a worm gear with integrated slipping clutch, output shaft on the right, mounting and electric motor. The operator is installed in a horizontal position.

The following components are not included in the scope of delivery and can be ordered optionally with the operators:

• Emergency manual operation - e.g. for top-running sliding gates: Emergency hand crank NHK or chain emergency hand KNH
• External limit switch - roller lever limit switch or inductive limit switch

The integrated GfA Elektromaten WS 905 control unit can be ordered as an option. This has a control voltage of 24V AC and is equipped with 2 contactors. The cable length to the operator is 0.8m (CEE plug is not included).

The WS 905 can be operated with mechanical limit switches NES or with external limit switches. The digital limit switch DES is not compatible with the WS 905. In this case, an external control unit such as the GfA Elektromaten TS 400 is required.
