Control Units

Door control units are largely responsible for the precise control and automation of special doors in industrial environments. These doors are used to regulate access to warehouses, factories, logistics centres and other industrial facilities. Compared to conventional doors, industrial doors are characterised by their larger size, robustness and adaptability to demanding environments. Designs can vary, including sliding gates, sectional doors, rolling doors or folding doors, depending on the individual requirements of the site.

Types of door control units

Various types of door control units are available to automate the many different types of doors.

Constant-pressure-to-close control for doors

The simplest type of control is the constant-pressure-to-close control, in which the door is only moved with continuous actuation of the travel command.

Automatic controls for gates

Comfort automatic controls are used for fully automatic operation, even from a greater distance, e.g. by remote control. These controls are offered with many functions and connection options for various peripheral devices, sensors, etc. The range of functions of these controls and the circuit diagram with the connection options are best taken from the instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Special controls for doors

Special controls are used for particularly complex operating conditions. These include, for example, controls for industrial sliding gates or special versions for use in harsh environmental conditions. These controls can communicate with a higher level control system, a PLC etc., for example. For particularly complex applications, controls with Frequency converters and particularly variable programming are used. All these door control units ensure precise and efficient door movement in industrial processes.
