Advantages of the BEA LZR Widescan
Through modern laser technology, the BEA LZR Widescan can capture size, position, direction and speed of objects. Thus, parallel traffic and pedestrians are concealed. If needed, the height of the door opening can be adjusted to save energy by shortening the time the door remains open.
When vehicles are approaching, the door can be opened automatically. A virtual pull switch can also be configured.
The BEA LZR Widescan detects exactly when vehicles are approaching or if they park in the surveillance area and it prevents any contact with the door.
Working Principle of the BEA LZR Widescan
The BEA LZR Widescan examines the entire door area with 7 laser curtains. The three-dimensional detection field is divided into three sub-areas: opening, surveillance and additional protection.
The BEA LZR Widescan works on the principle of time-of-flight and enables the calculation of dimensions, of the direction and of the speed of objects in the detection field.
The field can be individually and intuitively adapted to local conditions via an app (available soon), but neither bad weather nor the condition of the floor or the object being scanned disturb the laser scanner.
