Safety sensors
A key element are sensors for obstacle detection or presence detection, which are used to prevent collisions with objects or people. These sensors are often equipped with advanced technologies such as infrared, ultrasound or radar and enable the door opening to be monitored. These include safety edges, Light curtains, photo eyes, Area scanners or modern 3D laser scanner systems. As soon as an obstacle is detected, the sensor sends a corresponding signal to the door control unit, which stops or changes the door movement to prevent potential damage.

These sensors detect an approaching object, such as a forklift truck or lorry, and open or close doors as required at the right time. Sicherheitssensoren
