CEDES Light curtains
CEDES is best known in the door automation industry for its GridScan/Pro light curtain – an extremely reliable, SIL2-certified safety curtain for industrial doors. Thanks to the EC type-examination certification, the CEDES GridScan/Pro light curtain can be used on any door. In addition, the light curtain can be integrated and retrofitted into all types of door control units.
CEDES photo eyes
CEDES single light barriers such as the ELS 263 are very compact and therefore ideal for installation where space is limited. These photo eyes can also be installed directly in door frames. The CEDES ELS 263 single light barrier is fully encapsulated and therefore designed for outdoor use.
CEDES safety edges
CEDES safety edges are used wherever edges, for example of descending doors, could endanger people or objects. CEDES safety edges use rubber lips to provide this all-important protection: if the rubber lips are touched, their switching profile deforms and the movement of the door is stopped immediately.
